The Roof Replacement Process

INitial Inspection

  • We will come out to your home to measure the roof, inspect for any roof damage, and take notes of any special needs you may have

Product Selection

  • We provide a GAF product and color selection booklet that contains samples of all GAF shingle styles and colors giving you a multitude of options to choose from.

Scheduling

  • Once you have selected the product, we will reach out and choose a date that fits in with your schedule. On the date of installation, we will call you in the morning to confirm our start time.

Work

  • Work will typically be completed in less than three days, and we provide updates about the project at every stage.

  • While removing the old roof, we perform an inspection on the decking to ensure no wood has been compromised by any damage. If any damage is found, we will need to replace it.

  • After the integrity of all decking is confirmed, underlayment and a moisture barrier (both used to prevent water leakage) are installed on the roof.

  • Shingles are now installed over the roof, with a special type of singles called a ridge cap going over the peak of your roof.

  • Detail work is performed, such as drip edge, gutters, or chimney caps to ensure a fully integrated and working roof system.

Final Inspection

  • After all work is completed, we inspect the roof and all surrounding areas for debris, tools, and nails. We spot check sections of the roof to confirm proper installation.

Warranty

  • Once all work is complete and the inspection and cleanup have finished, we will register your roof with the manufacturer and obtain a warranty which we will pass on to you, but we will also keep copies on file so if you ever have an issue, you can call us.
